This Kabuki print is made of high quality off-white textured paper, with insanely good enviromental characteristics. The paper is an FSC certified made up of 65% virgin fibres, 20% recycled material and 15% cotton fibres. The finish is a luxurious, textured surface that is soft to the touch, it's very similar to a high quality watercolour paper.
The design is my own design, draw by me using Procreate, and it's based on my acrylic brooch design. Kabuki masks, often featuring or representing the highly stylized kumadori makeup, are iconic, ornate, and exaggerated theatrical face paint designs used to portray specific emotions, roles, or supernatural characters in traditional Japanese Kabuki theatre.
The prints are highly resistant to UV light and are PH neutral, allowing you to display them for years and are printed locally, in the UK.
