This mask brooch is made of acrylic and inspired by the Kabuki mask. Kabuki masks, often featuring or representing the highly stylized kumadori makeup, are iconic, ornate, and exaggerated theatrical face paint designs used to portray specific emotions, roles, or supernatural characters in traditional Japanese Kabuki theatre
The brooch is made of two layers of acrylic and more than 20 pieces each one is carefully mounted on the final piece, the mouth is also hand-painted. The acrylic has been cut and engraved in my own home using solar-powered energy.
The brooch comes on a branded jewellery box made with FSC-certified, perfect if you want to give this product as a gift to someone.
To clean your piece, you can simply wipe everything with a glass cloth or soft cloth. Acrylic can be scratched very easily, so keep that in mind.
The acrylics are made out of recycled acrylic from a local UK business.
