The available designs are:

- Koinobori (鯉のぼり): meaning "carp streamer" in Japanese, are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Tango no sekku (端午の節句), a traditional calendrical event which is now designated a national holiday: Children's Day (Kodomo no Hi, 子供の日).[1] These windsocks are made by drawing carp patterns on paper, cloth or other nonwoven fabric. They are then allowed to flutter in the wind.

- Daruma (達磨) is a hollow, round, Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen tradition of Buddhism. Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck, making them a popular gift of encouragement.

- Ramen (ラーメン) is a Japanese noodle soup. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat or (occasionally) fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork (叉焼, chāshū), nori (dried seaweed), menma, and scallions. Nearly every region in Japan has its own variation of ramen, such as the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen of Kyushu, and the miso ramen of Hokkaido.

- Sakura (桜) is the Japanese term for ornamental cherry blossom trees and their blossoms. Sakura is very important in Japan because of Hanami (花見, "flower viewing") is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers. From the end of March to early May, cherry trees bloom all over Japan. In modern-day Japan, hanami mostly consists of having an outdoor party beneath the sakura during daytime or at night.
